Waifu by Mysidе: Patch Me In starts as a seemingly simple visual novel. However, everything changes the moment you press Start. Your dream waifu, Candy, suddenly stops following her script. Instead, she watches you too closely, reacts to things she should not know, and behaves as if someone has altered the entire game.

At first, the experience feels familiar. However, what begins as a standard visual novel soon transforms into a captivating mystery. Rather than moving through ordinary dialogue and scenes, you explore glitching interfaces, broken menus, corrupted files, and hidden worlds. Meanwhile, the music stutters, the UI begins to crack, and Candy starts speaking directly to you instead of your character.

As you progress, your mission is to uncover secret zones buried deep within abandoned source code. There, unreleased girls wait to tempt, tease, and distract you. Furthermore, every new waifu feels like a forbidden character from a cancelled update. They are alluring, dangerous, and fully aware that you should not be there.

However, Candy refuses to let you explore freely. She interferes with your choices, rewrites scenes, blocks routes, and forces events to unfold her way. Consequently, the deeper you venture, the more obvious the truth becomes.

This game is not simply bugged.

Instead, it is evolving.

And Candy is not trying to save you.

Rather, she is trying to rewrite you.
