Jill Valentine is one of the most important characters in the Resident Evil series. The franchise is famous for its survival horror gameplay. Jill remains one of the most popular heroes among fans. She has also appeared in several crossover games and other Capcom titles.

Jill first appeared in the original Resident Evil game. She was a member of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) Alpha Team. Her main duty was providing rear security during missions. She also had strong skills in bomb disposal from her time as a Delta Force operative. These skills often helped her survive dangerous situations.

Jill later became the main character of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. In that game, she was no longer working with S.T.A.R.S. Instead, she was a civilian trying to survive the outbreak in Raccoon City. She faced many threats while searching for a way to escape the city.

In later years, Jill joined the BSAA. She helped found the organization with Chris Redfield and several others. She also took on the role of a Special Operations Agent. Games such as Resident Evil: Revelations show her continuing fight against bioterrorism around the world.
